I provide full diagnostic assessments for children and young people up to 16 years of age. I am a highly experienced general and specialist teacher and tutor for all key stages, including teenagers, currently working in a highly regarded primary school as a teacher and Head of English. I also have four (adult) children, one of whom has dyslexia, so I understand the emotional and academic complexities - but also the strengths - that go hand in hand with a specific learning challenge. I provide face to face dyslexia diagnostic assessments for children and young people throughout Cheshire and neighbouring counties. I hold a current, full DBS certificate and have specialist qualifications with the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) with Patoss (Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties). I can be commissioned independently by families, students, independent or state schools, and can provide assessments in a secure home environment.
